Lent Lunch 2016

A Lent Lunch, to raise funds for Water Aid, held on Wednesday the 9th of March, was attended by over 40 people in St Neot's Social Club. An astonishing £300 was raised, and a big "Thank You" is sent to all who attended, those who donated money if they couldn't, bought raffle tickets, supplied the soup and puddings, ran the raffle, made the tea and washed up.

Bishop Tim Visits the School at St Neot

On Tuesday 29th September the Bishop of Truro, Bishop Tim visited our school here in St Neot. He is pictured above sitting with the children in the school hall. Bishop Tim talked to the children about Michaelmas and the significance of Saint Michael's Day (29th Sept). After the children had sung a song, invited guests from the village, teachers and Bishop had tea and cakes.

"Well done” to everyone who came to the Christian Aid Lent Lunch last Wednesday, the 11th March 2015. Thank you to those of you who enjoyed soup and a bread roll followed by a scrummy pudding, and everyone who bought a raffle ticket helping to raise an excellent £310.60 for Christian Aid.

Many thanks to all who made and donated the soups, rolls, puddings and cream, we couldn't have done it without you.
