Restoration of the Windows
Care for the windows is an ongoing task.
2022-2023
Last Supper Window
The Last Supper window was removed and restored during 2022-2023 at the cost of £XXX. The stone mullions were replaced and the lead replaced between the glass. The window is now in cased behind panes of glass.

State of window
The stone mullions made from sandstone had eroded to the extent that the window has become unsafe.
Fundraising
Funds generated by the Parishioners and grants from XX enabled complete removal of the window.
Restoration Works
The work was carried out by specialist stained glass window workers with skills in lead work, stone masonry and stained glass. During the works a large banner with an image of the window protected the rest of the church from winter weather!
